If you smell gas right now, leave the property, do not use switches or flames, and call the National Gas Emergency Service on 0800 111 999. They will make the supply safe for free.
24/7 emergency call-out, 365 days a year
Once the emergency service has capped the supply, we can trace the leak, repair the pipework or appliance, and test the whole installation so you can turn the gas back on safely.
The National Gas Emergency Service is the right first call for a live smell of gas: it is free and runs 24 hours a day. Their engineer will make it safe but will not usually carry out repairs. That is where we come in. Leak repair is one of the topics customers most often mention in our Google reviews.
