Safety comes first. A service checks the boiler is burning cleanly and not producing carbon monoxide.
It also protects your warranty, since most manufacturers make an annual service a condition of cover. And it is the cheapest way to catch a small fault, such as a weeping seal or a tired fan, before it becomes a winter breakdown. A boiler that is set up correctly also burns less gas.
If you let a property, we can combine the boiler service with the annual landlord gas safety check, including the hob and any other gas appliances, in a single visit.
